Are you a female founder or freelancer in the Staffordshire area?
Back in early 2023 a couple of female founder friends and I had a chat about how much we really felt the need for connection with other small business owners, just like us locally.
BUT we’d found networking that we’d done in the past pretty intimidating.
Our first Female Freelancer and Founder Meet up was born. Turns out there were plenty more awesome women feeling the same way. We now meet up regularly and have a network of over 70 awesome fellow entrepreneurs in the Stafford area.
Not got on with traditional networking in the past?
Hate the thought of having to sell yourself to a room full of strangers, but crave connection and friendship with fellow business owners, or freelancers who just “get it"?
Then this is for you. Our best business ideas come from a chat with like-minded people.
These are not events for pressure selling or recruiting, but learning from one another about balancing business owner life and making connections over coffee and cake or maybe wander in nature.

Spend the day with other amazing Business Owners, getting STUFF DONE. We include lunch and refreshments at these, they’re super inspiring and loads of fun.

Join us for a relaxed, “non- networky” networking meet up on Thursday, 27th February, starting at 10:00 AM at the lovely Millford Hall Cricket Club. Entrance includes tea or coffee and delicious cake.

Why did I start these events?
Freelance life, especially when juggling around a young family can feel lonely. If I wasn’t working I was parenting and if I wasn’t parenting I was working. I love my business but needed to find connection with a tribe that “got it”.
I’d found networking a little intimidating and overwhelming in the past so I wanted to create a space for Female Freelancers and Founders might have felt the same. Turned out there’s quite a few.
